Are the AI crawlers allowed in?

The check
Three questions decide whether a website appears in AI answers. The check answers all three — and tells you what to do about each finding.

Structured data, headings, author and date: everything an AI system uses to work out who is writing here, about what — and whether it can trust the statement.
AI systems do not read a page, they take passages from it. The check looks at whether there really are answers under your headings — and whether the text is there at all without JavaScript.
GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimization: the work of getting a website to appear in the answers of ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Microsoft Copilot and Google's AI Overviews — and not only in a list of blue links.
The difference from classic search engine optimisation is smaller than it sounds, and in one place larger: if you shut the AI crawlers out in robots.txt, or have your content assembled only in the browser, you are not badly placed for these systems — you are absent altogether. That is precisely where the GEO check starts.

Yes. Any website is checked, whatever runs behind it — WordPress, Shopify, Wix, something home-grown. If it is TYPO3, the report additionally names the version and whether it is still maintained.
Every finding names the documentation it rests on — OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, Google, schema.org, RFC 9309. You can check every statement at the source instead of having to take our word for it.
Most findings can be dealt with in a few hours. If you would rather not do it yourself, we go through the report with you and implement what makes the biggest difference.
