Privacy # Privacy policy ## Privacy policy This policy describes which data arises when you visit this website, what it is used for and what rights you have. ## Controller WEB NOMADS, Marcel Marty, Schlossmühlestrasse 218, 8408 Winterthur, Switzerland. Email: welcome (at) web-nomads.ch ## Server log files When a page is requested, the server stores technically necessary details: IP address, time, the address requested, the volume of data transferred and the browser identification. This data serves secure operation and troubleshooting, is not combined with other sources and is deleted after a short period. ## Getting in touch If you write to us or call us, we use your details solely to deal with your enquiry and for any follow-up. They are not passed on to third parties. ## Cookies This website sets only technically necessary cookies, for session handling for example. No tracking cookies are set and no data is transmitted to advertising networks without your express consent. ## Processors For hosting and sending email we work with carefully chosen service providers in Switzerland and the EU who are contractually bound to comply with data protection law. ## Your rights You have the right at any time to information about the data stored about you and to have it corrected or deleted. An informal message to welcome (at) web-nomads.ch is enough. *Note for the editorial team: this version is a starting point and does not replace a legal review.* ## Legal basis The revised Swiss Data Protection Act (revDSG), in force since 1 September 2023, applies. For visitors from the European Economic Area the GDPR applies in addition. Where the two differ, we apply whichever rule is stricter. ## Retention periods Server log files are deleted after 30 days at the latest. Enquiries sent through the contact form and the related correspondence are kept for as long as handling them requires, at most 24 months after the last contact. Data from completed projects is subject to the statutory retention period of 10 years under article 958f of the Swiss Code of Obligations. ## Reach measurement This website measures visits with a self-hosted Matomo. That data does not leave our server, and a “Do Not Track” signal sent by your browser is respected. In addition, the live website embeds Google Tag Manager, which transmits usage data to Google and does not evaluate “Do Not Track”. The cookie notice names which services are loaded on your first visit; the choice you make there can be called up and changed again at any time. The chat assistant keeps your conversation in the browser's session storage and therefore only until the tab is closed. No cookie is set for it. ## No automated decision-making We use no procedures that decide about you automatically, and we build no profiles. Your data is not sold and not passed to third parties for advertising purposes. ## Your rights in detail You have the right to information, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing and to receive your data in a common format. An informal message to welcome (at) web-nomads.ch is enough; we reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can turn to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Bern. ## Got a TYPO3 project in mind? A new website, an upgrade that is overdue or an extension that does not exist yet: tell us about it. First conversation free of charge, answer within 24 hours.
